31 weeks and first trip to the hospital!

Wednesday I woke up to bad menstrual cramps, sharp stabbing pain with back pains. I had 7 in an hour and more continued. I called my OB and she sent me to Labor and Delivery to be checked. I had a urinalysis, fetal fibronectin and put on the monitor for about hours. I was having some small contractions but nothing abnormal. The ffn came back negative so that means no baby in the next 2 weeks. This is great! She'll be safe for at least another 2 weeks, thank goodness. So it turns out I have a bladder infection. They put me on Amoxicillin and sent me home for rest. I'm still having some pains but over all I'm good. Scary stuff but it turned out ok.

See the stretch marks? They are awesome(not). Also notice the crooked Linea Negra. It's awesome too. :)

PS- THIS IS THE CAMERA I GOT FOR CHRISTMAS! I LOOOVE IT!

30 weeks with DMacG and starting nursery

Ray stained the ugly wood paneled wall and painted the room white so far. The cubbies will all be different colors I think but we haven't quite set it in stone yet.

Total weight gain/loss: 20 lbs

Stretch marks? A couple

Sleep: Like caca

Best moment this week: Watching the baby kick and move.

Movement: I can now see my belly roll and move.

Food cravings: Peppermint mocha from Starbucks, brussel sprouts (I always love them though).

Belly Button: I can see the end of it. I have some yucky scars and a couple skin tags thanks to my 3 laparoscopies.

What I miss: Sleep...being comfortable.

What I’m looking forward to: Seeing what she looks like, setting up the nursery.

Weekly Wisdom: Sleep! Rest and drink lots of water.

Emotional: Doing better.

Baby kicking 21 weeks

First time posting a video so I'm just seeing if this works..

21 weeks

I'm totally stealing an idea from a fellow nestie. I've been feeling like it's hard to update this with anything other than pictures. I sorta feel like I would be repeating myself. So. MrsMeyer- I snagged your format! xoxo

Total weight gain/loss: +7 lbs. I had gained 7, then lost 2, then back up, then down 1. So I'm just leaving it at 7.

Stretch marks? Zero

Sleep: It goes back and forth.. I have noticed my energy level going way up though I still get tired very easily.

Best moment this week: Finding out that this little one is a girl. She's also been very very active and it's really funny because in all of the ultrasounds that we've had, the doctor always comments on how it's an active one. :) I guess she's just going to be a go-getter.

Movement: Lots of kicks and some flip flops. It definitely seems like she likes the center and left side of my abdomen.

Food cravings: This is a hard one. I never know what is really a "Craving" and what is just stuff that I feel like eating. I haven't had much real cravings where I'm dying to and must have a certain thing. I have been wanting to drink a lot of OJ, hashbrowns, fish n chips with curry sauce from Brittania Arms, paninis with pickles, bread and butter pickles... iunno.

Belly Button: It's getting shorter by the day! I can almost see the end of it now. Crazy!

What I miss: Being able to see my vagina..lol.

What I’m looking forward to: Seeing what she looks like, setting up the nursery, baby showers, etc.

Weekly Wisdom: Even though I knew pregnancy would be a great experience.. I never knew it could be this cool. I'm definitely comfortably pregnant, obviously look pregnant and it's amazing to know that she's a little girl and feel her move.

I would like to start taking real pregnancy pictures. Unfortunately we don't have a good digital camera, but I'm going to start good ones...and clean that mirror.. I promise!

Dang, it's hot in this coffee shop!

16 weeks

FAT FEET! Lower limb swelling is no fun. I was sitting at the kitchen table for (apparently) too long. I had to soak my feet in cold water and then elevate them.
I am still feeling movement..whether it's gas or twitches I don't know. But I am pretty sure I felt the real deal this weekend while I was listening to some music. I've been having what I think are Braxton Hicks contractions. Things that I've read say it's possible to start having them now and I'm pretty dang sure that's what it is. All of a sudden my lower abdomen will harden and I start to feel a menstrual-like cramp. Thankfully it doesn't last long and it's not terribly painful, though it is uncomfortable.

4 more weeks until we find out what this baby is! I can't wait!

(Sorry for the dirty mirror..I'll try to clean it next time)

15 week belly pics

One pic is "sucking it in" and the others are normal..lol.
I got Itty Bitty Nursery to start learning how to knit. I'm pretty excited. I love this mouse mobile. (Not that I'll ever be able to actually knit it..lol).
I bought maternity pants this week, as you can see. Oh my gosh they make all the difference!
I'm still having a ton of back pain and sciatica so I will be going to physical therapy for that. Also for my migraines that I get every day. I'm still tired and really suffering from pregnancy brain but over all- things are great.

I'm not sure if I'm feeling the baby move a little or if its just ute twitches. Only time will tell...
